So, summer came and is now gone. I was off work for a bit in July and immediately escaped the city for fresh air and all kind of noses and mules that belongs to the wild animals walking about around the house here. I’m a city girl all through. I’m in love with concrete and neon lights but that doesn’t mean nature isn’t for me. Instead of rats running along the pavements in the early hours there are all these other animals. Both the ones that hide from us, and the not so shy deer’s that want to eat pretty flowers. There are moose, eagles, owls, badgers, foxes, snakes and mice and rabbits and whatever else takes fancy to live among the blueberry-covered ground beneath the tall fern trees.
And not to speak about the plants, moss trees. And the beaches and water and small island that the archipelago consists of.
It’s an inspiration of all kind of ways. The shapes and colours that surrounds me that makes my head spinning of all that I want to record and draw and base a year worth of art by.
